Hi, I’m Cassie (“Casey”). These days, it’s easy to get lost in the day-to-day busyness of our lives. We feel connected with friends because we see their stories on social media, but don’t have real connections. We put God on our to do list, checking that task off when we go to church on Sunday.
I know. I’ve done these things. But God didn’t intend for us to just go through the motions of life. I’ve learned through my try-hard, mistake-filled, busy life that God wants us to have full, joyful lives where we are shining our light and helping others.
That’s why I’m here. I want to build a community of believers who live with intention for God. A community who takes time to improve their lives so that they can be a positive influence on those around them. A community who shines brightly for God.
I am a Texas girl who lives with my husband, daughter and labradoodle. For you personality nerds like me, I’m an introverted, DiSC profile C, Enneagram 9/6 with a top strength of Harmony.
Fun facts about me:
- I love to impersonate our dog, Bailee. For instance, “Sissy, will you please leave the room so I can steal your lunch?” and “Mama, it’s time to wake up and feed me!”
- I love to travel! Some of my favorite places to visit are Nashville, San Francisco and the Bahamas.
- I don’t use our perfectly capable dishwasher, instead choosing to hand wash every dish.
- I love live music.
- Food-wise, I am THE pickiest 40-year-old woman you will ever know. Give me some mac and cheese any day and I’ll be happy!
