Summer feels so close! We are in the countdown to the end of the school year, and we are trying to lock down a few activities and trips for summer. Thank goodness there are options this year! The high school seniors are checked out of school mentally and have their minds on their next stage in life. Do you remember this time in your life? I am so excited for them and the bright future that lays ahead for them.

I enjoy sharing a few of my favorite things here with you each month. These are not affiliate links, just things I genuinely love and want to share about in hopes that they might bring you joy, too. I’d love to know about something you are loving right now, so leave a comment below if you’d like to share!

  • I bought the book Love Centered Parenting after hearing the author, Crystal Paine, on two different podcasts (Rhythms for Life and The Christy Wright Show). The book was exactly what I needed over the past couple of months, and the timing could not have been more perfect. Crystal shares four strategies for parenting from a place of love and grace, instead of hard rules and impossible expectations.
  • I bought this tumbler made by Rifle Paper Co. & Corkcicle and love it! Rifle Paper Co. has really cute designs for drinkware, umbrellas, planners, etc., so they are a great place to shop for Mother’s Day gifts! Even their disposable face masks are beautiful.
  • One podcast I look forward to and listen on the day it releases is Annie and Eddie Keep Talking. This podcast has no agenda–it’s just two friends, Annie F. Downs and Eddie Kaufholz, chatting about anything. Listening to them chat feels like sitting down with friends. They may talk about Dollywood or they may talk about God’s sovereignty, but it is always simply a joy to listen in.
  • This month, my sister and I went to a class on how to make a cheese and charcuterie board and it was so fun! A good charcuterie board is definitely one of my favorite things. Fed and Fit has a wonderful post about how to make the perfect charcuterie board — including how to pronounce it 😉 .
  • We recently discovered a game called Rummikub, and we love it. This is not a new game, so many of you may already know about it. You can play with 2-6 players, ages 8+. If anyone is looking for a new game to add to their collection before summer, this is a fun one!
  • Our labradoodle’s favorite healthy treats are Kingdom Pets Jerky Twists Chicken & Sweet Potato. They are a bit pricey, but the 3 lb bag lasts us several months. They also make a duck version. I give Bailee 1-2 treats once or twice a week, and she LOVES them.
