- This book will definitely be in my top 10 favorites for this year. Daniel Nayeri wrote Everything Sad Is Untrue from the perspective of his elementary and middle school self after his family immigrated from Iran to Oklahoma. He weaves Persian legends in with his family’s history in a windy and sometimes difficult, but beautifully written autobiography. It would be a fantastic book to listen to or read as a family. It is worth all of the accolades it is receiving!
- I’ve been eyeing these Kendra Scott Ellen Huggie earrings for a while, and finally bought a pair. I love their simple style and closed oval shape. No snagging on hair or face masks! They would make a sweet Mother’s Day gift.
- This is not a new album, but I’ve had Kacey Musgraves’ Golden Hour album on repeat this month. Her voice is so lovely, and my favorite songs on the album are Butterflies, Golden Hour and Rainbow. This album is the perfect soundtrack for the spring.
- This favorite thing isn’t something I’ve actually used, but I’ve been admiring on my daughter’s nails. You guys know my love of Dazzle Dry, but my daughter has a few bottles of Olive & June and likes them. For Easter, I picked up the Olive & June shade TT at Target for her and it is a gorgeous pale lavender grey shade.
- I bought the Stephanie Coin Necklace from one of my favorite mission-minded brands, ABLE, and am loving wearing it. Along with a reminder to shine my light, I’ve also assigned it a verse for me to memorize: Lamentations 3:22-23 “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
