February Favorites

Well, we made it through the first two months of 2020! I hope your year is starting out strong. I love sharing my monthly favorites in hopes that you might find some joy, knowledge or inspiration in my recommendations. Enjoy these February Favorites, and I would love for you to share some of yours in the comments!

  • During the cold winter months, our skin can become so dry! One of my new favorite finds is the limited release Hand Cream Trio from Beautycounter. These smell delightful and moisturize so well without being greasy. All three scents are fantastic, but the Soft Neroli may be my all-time favorite scent. (In full disclosure, I am a consultant, so if you order through the link, I will earn a small commission.)
  • I just found this podcast and am enjoying it, but one episode was so interesting that I had to share it with you. Episode 31 of Honest Conversations is Spiritual Warfare & What You Need to Know. This topic terrifies and fascinates me. Listen to learn more!
  • I tried the Dazzle Dry nail polish system for the first time this month. It is a more natural, nontoxic nail polish that dries quickly and really lasts! My polish lasted 9 days before chipping at all, and I finally removed it after 11 days because it was starting to lift on the sides a bit and had grown out too far from my cuticles. It is more expensive that your typical grocery store polish, but they do occasionally run sales and offer a 20% discount on your first order.
  • I was first introduced to the artist Stanton Lanier several years ago when I used to teach Bodyflow, a yoga class. His song, Wildflowers, was used as the meditation track in one of the releases, and I fell in love. Another favorite song is Walking on Air. His website describes his music as “scripture inspired piano to refresh your spirit” and there is not a more accurate description.
  • I made this recipe for the first time this week and we loved it! It is the Creamy Chicken Wild Rice Soup from She Wears Many Hats website. It is definitely going into our recipe rotation during the cold seasons.

That’s it for my February Favorites! Let me know if you try and like any of these, and share what some of your favorite things currently are!
