November Favorites

I hope your November was full of joy, gratitude and precious time with family. We have much to be thankful for, indeed!

I recently created a 2019 Gift Guide. In it, I listed many great ideas for you as you make your list and check it twice, and there are so many Black Friday deals going on now!

I have some great recommendations for you this month!

  • First up in my November favorites–if you haven’t seen this movie yet, go see it! It is so inspiring. I wish we all had a little more Mr. Rogers inside of us.
  • I finished this book this month and loved it. If you enjoy reading books about World War II, I think you’ll like Cilka’s Journey, as well another book by the same author, The Tattooist of Auschwitz. Read Tattooist first if you plan to read both, since they both involve some of the same characters.
  • We made this Chicken in Basil Cream Sauce a couple of times this month and it is always a favorite (thanks for the recipe, Jan!). I puree the pimientos and basil before adding them to the sauce, and I serve over orzo pasta.
  • This Barefoot Dreams sweater makes me feel so cozy and happy every time I wear it! It’s a little pricey, but worth it. It’s on sale for Black Friday! They also have robes, socks, and blankets.
  • I recently started following Anna Grist @Serendipimoose on Instagram and her images from Alberta are simply breathtaking! God created such a beautiful world.

I hope you liked my November favorites and get some inspiration from them! Feel free to leave a comment below with some of your favorite things in November.

I wish you all a joyful December and a very merry Christmas. May we all remember and honor the birth of Jesus Christ during this season.
