2019 Gift Guide

Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. I love the traditions, music, lights, decorations and time with family and friends. Jesus is always the Reason for the Season!

Buying Christmas gifts for my loved ones also brings me joy, but it can add stress when I don’t know what to buy for someone. A gift guide is a fun way to get fresh ideas and recommendations.

I created this gift guide to give you some unique ideas–things you can’t find at the mall or Target (except for some of the books). I tried to focus on faith-based, sustainable or non-toxic brands, with a few others thrown in. You can also check my Favorites posts for additional ideas. My guide is mostly for women & teen girls, but I did find a few ideas for the men, too.

Note – These are all products I love or would love. They are not affiliates (so I don’t get paid for mentioning them), with the exception of 2, noted below.

FOR HER

Jewelry & Accessories

  • Laurel Denise – Her beautiful handmade leather bracelets are stamped with inspiring words or phrases. There are many different colors and words to choose from.
  • Dear Mushka – Her jewelry is simply beautiful and every piece is inspired by a Bible verse. Some of my favorites include the Guard necklace, Harvest necklace, and Shell earrings. Get $5 off your order using the link I provided (and I will get $5 off as well).
  • ABLE – This company makes beautiful jewelry, handbags, shoes and more. I love their mission to empower women living in poverty and commitment to publish their lowest wage. I think the Mare Phone Wallet or the Mina Jacket would be a nice gift.
  • Noonday – This company is also mission-minded, hiring artists all around the world to make their products. A few of my favorites include the Province bracelets and the Revelry earrings.
  • Lisa Leonard Designs – Beautiful faith jewelry.

Decor

Books & Notebooks

  • May Designs – These customizable notebooks, stationary, phone cases, tumblers etc. are so cute. There are so many patterns to choose from, and a monogrammed gift is always a win!
  • The Next Right Thing book – Emily P. Freeman has a gift to beautifully and gently encourage us to take the next steps in the right direction. Whether you know someone going through a transition or who just loves to read, this is a great gift.
  • Happy Hand Lettering book – Maghon Taylor teaches beautiful lettering styles in the brightest, most joyful way possible. She also has other cute gifts in her shop.
  • Cook Once, Eat All Week cookbook – This is a great concept by Fed and Fit with delicious (and healthy) recipes for busy families!
  • 2020 Calendar by Morgan Harper Nichols – Her art is so beautiful, and you will find inspiring, thoughtful messages for each month.

Cleaner Living

  • Beautycounter – I have used their safer skincare and makeup products for a couple of years and love them. They also have a men’s and baby line available. Some fun gifts might include the Glo & Go Mini Oils, the Mini Lip Gloss Vault (which you could split to give to multiple people) and the Body Butter Trio. NOTE: I will receive a commission if you order through my consultant page.
  • Primally Pure – Another nontoxic skincare company, Primally Pure sells my favorite natural deodorant (charcoal).
  • Dazzle Dry – Nontoxic nail polish that dries quickly and lasts longer than most. Be sure to get the base coat!
  • Branch Basics – A nontoxic cleaning concentrate that can be used to replace many different household cleaning solutions. The history of this company is amazing!
  • Organic Chix – I’ve used their laundry products and mosquito spray. They are a great organic option.

FOR HIM

  • Iron Will Outfitters – For the bowhunter in your life, this company will engrave on their broadheads. Engraving a Bible verse reference or initials would be a nice touch!
  • Bexar Goods Co. – They are a little spendy, but they have beautiful, high quality leather goods for men.
  • Kammok – This company sells hammocks and camping gear for the adventurer in your life.

FOR BABY/CHILD

  • Cuddle + Kind – Not only are these adorable dolls handmade, but each doll purchased also helps feed 10 meals to children in need.
  • When I Pray For You book – Matthew Paul Turner released this best-selling book earlier this year and it is simply beautiful.
