Hi friends! Last month, I skipped my December Favorites in lieu of My Favorite Books and Shows of 2020. I hope you enjoyed those recommendations and were inspired to try some of them out!
How was your January? What are some of your favorite things right now? I love getting recommendations from friends, so leave me a comment and let me know! All of these January Favorites are in my daily routines right now.
Note: I don’t use affiliate links, but am a Beautycounter consultant (so I earn a commission on any Beautycounter sales through my website).
- My friend sent me this tea to try because she knew I like Red Hot candy. 🙂 If you’re a cinnamon lover like me, I highly recommend it! I have been drinking it almost every day.
- I just began following @sharonsaysso on Instagram and love her unbiased, educational content! She used to be a history teacher and uses her Instagram stories to answer questions about our government in a very factual way. She throws a few whale videos in occasionally for fun. She also hosts various “Government for Grownups” classes via zoom.
- Several years ago, I began replacing toxic products with more natural, safer ones. One product I had not been able to find a great replacement for was deodorant–until Beautycounter came out with their Clean Deo. I love the consistentcy (not sticky), the scents and their safer ingredients. Their refillable packaging also eases environmental concerns. (Note: I am a Beautycounter consultant and earn commissions through sales from my consultant website linked.)
- The older I’ve gotten, the more I care about comfort. I want soft sheets, soft sweaters, and I have finally found the softest pajamas ever (and I’ve worn them every night since I received them–thanks, Mom!) These Barefoot Dreams Luxe Milk Jersey Short Sleeve Pajamas are pricey but dreamy! They run a bit large.
- This is a repost of a favorite from last January, but it is worth the mention again. I am currently reading The 40-Day Sugar Fast by Wendy Speake and fasting from processed sugary foods. These devotions are so powerful! She has a new book called The 40-Day Social Media Fast; I think either of these would make great devotions for Lent or anytime.
