March Favorites

How are we already a quarter of the way through 2022? I hope you’ve had a great start to your year and are enjoying seeing signs of spring. I love all the new buds and blooms on the plants. I’m back with some favorites to share with you! These are just a few things that brought a little happiness to my days this month. I like to share my favorites each month, in hopes that something I share will brighten your day as well. I’d love for you to reply with a comment sharing one of your favorite things this month!

  • You may know about my love for Dazzle Dry nail polish, if you have been reading my monthly favorites for a while. This nail polish was a game changer for me, and this month I ordered a new shade, Blue Blood, which I love. It is a shimmery deep green/blue, and it is gorgeous! If you go to their website, in my opinion, the truest color shows in the video of the polish, not the still circle.
  • I took a hot meal to someone this month and loved this foil pan and carrier I found at our grocery store. The cardboard carrier made the foil pan so much easier to transport, and made it look festive at the same time!
  • Another book I loved this month was Laura Tremaine’s Share Your Stuff. I’ll Go First. This was a memoir-type book where she answers ten reflective questions posed throughout the book (such as, “When did you belong?”), and challenges the reader to answer the questions, too (in a journal or with a friend). I enjoyed both hearing her stories and thinking about these questions for myself.
  • Ben Rector’s new album, The Joy of Music, was released this month, and I am enjoying it! He has some *interesting* collaborators, including Snoop Dogg and Kenny G. The songs are light-hearted, a bit silly and so full of joy, and they lift my spirits.
  • We LOVE this fruit salad from The Slow Roasted Italian around my house. I change up the fruit depending on the season, sometimes deleting mango and adding grapes or blueberries in. The citrus honey dressing with poppy seeds is the magical part of the recipe. It would be a great dish to take to an Easter gathering!
